Which webinar event type should I choose?

Stealth Seminar offers several webinar event types for different delivery formats. Choose the event type that best matches how you want attendees to experience your webinar.

Automated webinar

Automated webinar is the most popular option for pre-recorded webinars.

Choose Automated when you want to:

Play a recorded webinar at scheduled times.
Allow attendees to register for upcoming sessions.
Make the webinar feel live with timed chat, calls to action, and other interactive features.
Offer a replay after the scheduled session ends.

Automated webinars are a good choice for evergreen campaigns, sales funnels, and webinars that should run on a recurring schedule.

Dedicated Replay, or On Demand

A Dedicated Replay, also called an On Demand webinar, lets attendees watch the webinar immediately after registering.

Unlike a scheduled webinar, an On Demand webinar does not require attendees to select a date and time. After registration, attendees are sent directly to the webinar Watchpage.

Choose Dedicated Replay when:

You want attendees to watch immediately.
You do not need scheduled sessions.
You want to share a direct Watchpage link.
You want to offer a simple replay experience.

This format is useful for lead magnets, follow-up campaigns, and visitors who want instant access to your content.

Livestream webinar

Choose Live when you are presenting to attendees in real time.

Live webinars can use a streaming link from platforms such as YouTube or Twitch through the Live Console. After the event, you can upload a recording to your Library and reuse it as an automated webinar or replay.

Choose Live when:

You or another presenter will host the webinar in real time.
Attendees need to interact with the presenter during the event.
The presentation content may change from one event to the next.
You want to answer questions or respond to attendees live.

Hybrid webinar

Choose Hybrid when you want to combine a pre-recorded presentation with a live segment.

For example, you can:

Play a recorded presentation first.
Join the webinar live for a Q&A session.
Present a live introduction and use a recording for the main content.
Use a backup ending video if you are unable to attend the live portion.

Hybrid webinars are useful when you want the consistency of a recording while retaining some live interaction.
