Getting Started with Stealth Seminar

Welcome to StealthSeminar!

Stealth Seminar helps you create and deliver webinars using prerecorded videos, live broadcasts, or a combination of both. You can use it to manage registration, scheduling, reminder emails, attendee access, engagement tools, replay content, and follow-up.

This guide explains the general process for creating and configuring a webinar in Stealth Seminar.

Webinar types

Stealth Seminar has four core webinar types. Choose the type that best matches how you plan to deliver your content.
Webinar type Best for How it works
Automated Webinar Reusing a prerecorded presentation A prerecorded video is shown at scheduled times as if it were live. You can add timed calls to action, polls, countdowns, simulated chat, and recurring schedules.
Dedicated Replay Providing immediate or on-demand access Attendees watch a prerecorded video directly without waiting for a scheduled webinar session. Access can be controlled by an availability or expiration window.
Live Webinar Real-time presentations, workshops, and broadcasts The webinar is delivered live through an external streaming service such as YouTube Live or Twitch, while Stealth Seminar manages the registration and attendee experience.
Hybrid Webinar Combining prerecorded content with live interaction A prerecorded segment is combined with a live broadcast, often for a live Q&A or closing presentation. A backup prerecorded video may be configured if the live segment is unavailable.

These webinar types use a similar registration, reminder, watch-page, and follow-up experience. The main difference is how the video or broadcast is delivered.

Public Webinar

Stealth Seminar also supports a Public Webinar access mode. This is intended for open viewing through an unregistered watch-page link. Public webinars are useful when you do not need individual attendee tracking, although they provide less attendee-level information than a standard registered webinar.

Choose the right webinar type

Use the following guidelines when deciding which type to create:
  • Choose an Automated Webinar when your content is prerecorded but you want attendees to register for scheduled sessions.
  • Choose a Dedicated Replay when attendees should be able to watch immediately or access a recording for a limited period.
  • Choose a Live Webinar when the presenter or host will broadcast in real time.
  • Choose a Hybrid Webinar when part of the experience is prerecorded and another part requires live interaction.
  • Choose a Public Webinar when you want to share an open viewing link and do not need registration-level tracking.

Not sure which to pick? Start with an Automated Webinar. You can always create a Live or Hybrid version later once you're comfortable with the platform.

Step 1: Create a new webinar

  1. From your dashboard, click New Webinar.
  2. Give your webinar a Title — this is for your reference and won't be shown to attendees unless you add it to your registration page.
  3. Select a Webinar Type (Automated Webinar is selected by default).
  4. Select or upload the webinar video you want to play.
  5. Click Create Webinar.

Step 2: Configure your schedule

Your schedule controls when attendees can watch. Under Schedule, choose the option that fits your funnel:

  • One-time date — A single scheduled session, like a live event.
  • Recurring / evergreen — The same webinar repeats on a schedule (e.g., daily at 2 PM), so there's always a "next available" session for new registrants.
  • Just-in-time — The webinar starts a set number of minutes after someone registers, so they never have to wait.

If you're running a recurring or evergreen webinar, you'll also see two related settings worth understanding:

  • Take to Countdown on Arrival — When turned on, returning visitors are taken straight to the countdown for the next available session. When turned off, they instead see a list of upcoming dates/times and a login button.
  • Missed Webinar / Webinar Complete Redirect (found under Miscellaneous) — Controls what happens when someone revisits their webinar link after their session has ended. By default, they're shown the countdown for the next upcoming session. You can turn this off to show a custom redirect or the default Webinar Complete page instead.

Step 3: Set up your registration page

The Registration tab is where you decide how — or whether — you collect attendee information.

Under Registration page types, pick the option that fits your funnel:

Option What it does
ThriveSeminar Templates Use one of the platform's built-in, pre-designed registration pages. This is the fastest option and the best starting point if you're new — you can still customize colors, copy, and fields on top of the template.
Third-Party Templates Build your registration page on an external tool you already use — such as ClickFunnels, Leadpages, or Thrive Architect — and connect it to your webinar instead of using a built-in template.
Public Webinar Skips registration entirely and lets anyone with the link join anonymously. Keep these limitations in mind: no name, email, or attendee data is captured (attendance is tracked only by unique IP address), marketing plugins can't be used, and split testing is disabled.
No Registration Page No registration page is shown at all — useful if you're driving traffic straight to the webinar room from your own custom page or funnel.

Tip: If you want full control over the design and code, you don't have to pick between the four cards above. The blue callout on this tab links to the Thrive Registration Embed Form, the ThriveSeminar API, and the option to build your own custom HTML/CSS registration page — useful if you need dynamic scheduling (like Just In Time) embedded on your own site, or want to register leads programmatically.

Add your registration questions

Open Registration page questions to choose what information you collect from attendees beyond the basics (name and email) — for example, company name, phone number, or a custom qualifying question. Click Preview to see exactly how the form will look to a registrant before you save.

Customize your form labels

Open Customize the labels in your registration form to edit the text on each field (for example, changing "First Name" to "What should we call you?"). Use Preview here too, so you're not guessing how your wording reads on the live page.

Tip: Use a clear headline and a single, obvious call-to-action button on your registration page. A cluttered page is one of the most common reasons for low sign-up rates.

Click Save & Continue to move to the Customize tab.

Step 5: Customize attendee pages

Use the Customize tab to control what attendees see after registration, before and during the webinar, and after the webinar ends. You can preview each page before publishing your changes.
  • Registration Feedback Page

Customize the message attendees see immediately after registering, or redirect them to another URL. Use this page to confirm that registration was successful and explain what happens next.

  • Webinar Countdown Page

Customize the page attendees see before the webinar begins. This page is displayed more than 30 seconds before the scheduled start time and can include joining instructions, event details, or a countdown timer.

  • Webinar Watch Page

Customize the main viewing experience for attendees. This is where attendees watch the webinar and interact with features such as chat, calls to action, polls, or other engagement tools, depending on your webinar configuration.

  • Webinar Completion Page

Customize the message attendees see after the webinar ends, or redirect them to another URL. You can use this page to provide next steps, promote an offer, share additional resources, or direct attendees to a replay.

  • Legal Content

Add or update the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and copyright text displayed in your webinar footer and emails. Make sure this information is accurate and up to date before sharing your webinar.

  • Registration Confirmation Email
Customize the email automatically sent when someone registers for your webinar. Include the webinar title, date and time, access instructions, and any other information attendees need before the event.
After updating each section, use the Preview option to review the attendee experience and confirm that your content, links, and branding appear as expected.

Step 6: Customize reminders and follow-up emails

Under Scheduling > Email Reminders section of your webinar,

  1. Turn ON email (and, if enabled, SMS/Facebook) reminders for key moments. For example, 24 hours before, 1 hour before, and "we're starting now."
  2. If you use an email marketing tool (like ActiveCampaign, AWeber, Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or GoHighLevel), connect it under Marketing Plugins so registrant activity — such as attending or missing the webinar — can trigger your own automated sequences.

You may further customize your reminders under the Customize tab.

Review the subject line, message content, webinar details, and access links for each email. Make sure reminders are enabled before launching your webinar.

Step 7: Add engagement features

These are optional, but they make an automated webinar feel live and keep attendees watching to the end.

  • Calls to action (CTAs) — Buttons or offers that appear at a specific point in the video to drive clicks, sign-ups, or purchases.
  • Polls — Interactive questions that pop up during playback.
  • Chat — Simulated or live chat that runs alongside the video.
  • ThriveCart Product Connection - This will enable you to Sell your products directly to attendees during the webinar event

Add these under your webinar's Interactions or Engagement settings, and set the timestamp in the video where each one should appear.

Tip: Use a clear headline and a single, obvious call-to-action button. A cluttered registration page is one of the most common reasons for low sign-up rates.

💡NOTE

If you use ThriveCart, connect your account, import or refresh your products, and select the product you want to promote. ThriveCart is primarily used for in-webinar product offers and purchase tracking.

Step 8: Preview and test

Before sharing your link with attendees:

  1. Use the Preview option to view the full experience exactly as an attendee would see it — registration page → confirmation → countdown → webinar room.
  2. Confirm your video plays correctly, your CTAs appear at the right timestamps, and your reminder emails are set up the way you expect.
  3. Double-check your registration page copy and confirmation page for typos or broken links.

Launch and monitor your webinar

Once everything checks out:

  1. Set your webinar to active so it's live and accepting registrants.
  2. Share your registration page URL through your marketing channels.
  3. Head to your Stats/Analytics dashboard to monitor registrations, attendance, engagement, and conversions as they come in — this is the best way to see what's working and refine future webinars.
