Meta's CAPI connection FAQ

This help article is intedended as a reply to common questions you may run into when you're setting up a CAPI connection here within Stealthseminar, or FAQ info. If you're not sure what CAPI would be used for in tracking at your events or have any other questions, let us know at the chatbox.

The connection to CAPI within Stealthseminar requires you to have administrator access at your Meta Business Ads account, so be sure that is available prior to continuing.

Once available go to marketing plugins here at Stealthseminar by clicking on your gravatar, or following the link > HERE < to CONNECT < your CAPI

In your Meta Business account you need to gather the token & other items shown below to create the connection.

Name your connection if wanting to setup multiple instances of a CAPI connection, each webinar event is handled separately here at Stealthseminar, CAPI is not available to setup globally at your account.

Pixel ID & Access token are associated to each other at your Meta Ads, check the video HERE for further details how to gather there, or contact your Meta Support Group, if required.

Source URL, is refering to your Registration Page link URL here at Stealthseminar, or also if you have a 3rd party registration page setup with our registration embed widget, either will work. Test Code is not required to complete, it can be ignored.

You can Save Connection at this point after all info. has been provided there as shown above.

A complete Meta Pixel Code is required, to be available at the webinar event, so the connection wil function properly to report well. This is also available at your Meta Ads.

A Meta Pixel Code is setup under Miscellaneous section when editing the specific webinar event,

under Tracking Code Setup. More info. how to > HERE  < setup under global is recommend to cover all pages at the webinar event.

Once your CAPI Connection has been saved,

You have place to view it and create condition> "when they register" for the webianr event (as shown below) in Plugins at the event when editing.

Other segement condtions are available through upgrading your connection's subscription level,
