How Do I Preview My Webinar's Registration or Watch Pages?
Previewing lets you check how your Registration or Watch page looks and reads without it counting as a visit in your webinar stats. This is the safest way to review page content, styling, and copy before your webinar goes live.
How to Preview a Page
You can access preview links from two places:
- My Webinars — From the main dashboard, locate your webinar in the list and use the preview option from the 3 button drop down.
- Inside the webinar editor — Open the webinar for editing, then click on the preview tabs for the Registration or Watch page once you have published
Either method opens the same preview.
Note: To test the actual live experience, including working links and real-time schedule behavior, use your Live link instead of the preview link.
Previewing Hybrid or Live Event Watch Pages
If your webinar is a Hybrid or Live event, the Watch page preview needs a video source to display correctly. Before previewing:
- Open your webinar for editing.
- Add your YouTube Live URL to the event settings.
- Preview the Watch page — it will now load using that YouTube stream.
Without a YouTube Live URL added, the Watch page preview will not display properly.
Common Question
Does previewing a page affect my webinar stats or analytics?
No. Previewing is designed specifically so you can review your pages without it being logged as a registration or view.
Why does my preview link look different from what a live attendee would see?
Preview links are for reviewing cosmetic content only — they don't run live schedule logic, countdowns, or registration tracking. Use the Live link to test full attendee-facing functionality.
My Watch page preview is blank for a Hybrid/Live event — why?
You need to add a YouTube Live URL in your event settings first. The Watch page preview for Hybrid and Live events requires a video source to render.
