How do I set up a Live or Hybrid Webinar?

Overview

Live and Hybrid webinars provide the same attendee-facing experience as Automated webinars. They can be hosted on a JoinNow.live page or your own custom URL, while still supporting features such as registration, reminders, tracking, audience segmentation, calls to action, polls, and chat. This keeps the experience consistent for attendees, regardless of whether they join an Automated, Hybrid, or Live webinar.

Choose the right webinar type

Live webinar

Choose Live when you will present to attendees in real time using a live stream from YouTube Live or Twitch.
A Live webinar is best when:
  • The presenter will deliver the content live.
  • Attendees need to interact with the presenter.
  • You want to answer questions in real time.
  • The content may change between sessions.

Hybrid webinar

Choose Hybrid when you want to combine pre-recorded content with a live presentation.
For example, you can:
  • Play a recording and join live for Q&A.
  • Present a live introduction before playing a recording.
  • Use a live presenter for part of the webinar and a recording for the rest.
  • Use a backup ending video if the presenter cannot attend.

How Live Webinars work

Stealth Seminar integrates with YouTube Live and Twitch. Your live stream is displayed within the Stealth Seminar webinar experience, while Stealth Seminar manages the attendee-facing features such as registration, reminders, tracking, calls to action, polls, and chat.

You can deliver a Live webinar in two main ways:
  1. Camera-only presentation: Stream directly from your camera using YouTube Live.
  2. Produced presentation: Use broadcasting software to add slides, multiple guests, videos, graphics, screen sharing, and other production elements
