How do I bulk import chat messages?

Bulk Importing a chat replay is done from a .csv file when logged in & editing your individual webinar event, you would download & need our import template to upload from tab view (as shown below)

*Attention Important Note* You must follow those rules shown below with content added to the chat replay, failure to do so will result in repeat erroneous messages from our server otherwise!


  • Bulk importing will overwrite any existing chat replay that exists! - this can also be used as a tool to remove any long list of chats that were added to an event that was left to run unmaintained.

Chat messages & length: Imported text Cells (other than "5th Cell/Column") Cannot be Empty & must contain data, any messages contained not to exceed 800 characters.


Specific Times: Chat Minute (0-59), Chat Second (0-59), Name for Chat (e.g. John D.) and Chat Message (e.g. This looks great!) must have some value.


Special Characters (emoji) and Hypertext Links: are not permitted to use in Chat Replay or available for actual clients to apply in Chats either.

How to bulk import chat messages

Direct download of our template is available HERE  (when logged into your Stealthseminar account)


Open the csv file, and add your message content (detailed):

  1. Add minutes for the first cell (under Chat Minute (0-59)). e.g. for a message 1 hour and 5 minutes into webinar, add 65.
  2. For second cell (under Chat Second (0-59)), enter seconds. e.g. if you want to add a message 40 minutes and 25 seconds into the webinar, add 25 there.
  3. For third cell (under Name for Chat (e.g. John D.)), enter the name that you want to show, before the chat message.
  4. For fourth cell (under Chat Message (e.g. This looks great!)) add the actual chat message
  5. For fifth cell (under Mark as Host User? (YES or blank)), enter "YES" if the message is intended to be shown from the System/Host/Presenter. Leave it blank otherwise.

Once complete adding your chat replay content, Save & Close As a .csv file < this is an important step often overlooked and file saved in some other format than .csv, if you want to be sure open our template .csv in "Google's Sheets" and Save As .csv file format from there.


Access the "Start Messages Import" button once complete and select .csv file from your computer, (a brief image video or entire proccess is shown below)

You will find your chat replay reproduced at the webinar event in field below message import button, if that's not a case, let us know by attaching your .csv in an email reply or chatbox, we're happy to diagnose any issue.


Once successful please be sure to test by registering to the event as hown how to > HERE


& be sure everything is setup & chats are timed to the event with Simulated Names as you like!
