Webinar Start Date, explained

A Webinar Start Date is required to publish your event. When you create from New Webinar button you will have an event that's already ready to go in a recent date by default.

A repeat automated webinar event is setup by default at New Webinar, if you choose to setup a ontime event only, the webinar start date is the only time at scheduling that will be available to choose.

You can set Webinar Start Date to an advanced date in the future if you like? A holiday schedule may be appropriate in that case to hide other repeat dates setup until then, check > HERE

Once a client registers to the event, Webinar Start Date will no longer be available to edit.

Shown below in Scheduling section settings for date & time,

You can find Registration End Date just above the setting.

Registration End Date: is a useful tool if you want date/times no longer available to choose from at the event's registration. It is Not required to setup and left blank by default, events wiil run until subscriptions end.
